Jalmaan

Aura Specs / Jalmaan, also known by his real name Karst van Galen Last, is a Dutch electronic music producer specializing in UK Hardcore. Beyond his music endeavors, he’s a fervent furry, gamer, and massive geek.

The nickname ‘Jalmaan’ originated from his childhood days spent playing RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 (RCT2), where he created a theme park named ‘Jalmaan.’ The name stuck with him ever since. While his childhood dream was to build and manage a theme park, his aspirations evolved over time. His ultimate goal now is to spread joy and happiness, considering his life fulfilled when he hears others say, “this guy really brought a smile to my face.”

Initially, his YouTube channel was dedicated to gaming. However, in 2015, his journey into music production began through the Monstercat community. Encouragement from the brony community further fueled his passion for music. Notably, his track ‘Far Away,’ released with Diversity Recordings, stands as one of his most played pieces.

He was also involved in collaborations with Tw3Lv3 and PrinceWhateverer.
