Volunteers
Everfree Encore volunteers sign-up
The Everfree Encore will need some helping hands to run this festival smoothly. Everfree Encore will be on June 7th – 9th, 2024, but we will also need any hand to prepare the area on June 6th and for cleanup on June 10th.
Full volunteers will, as a guideline, work around 8 hours per main day, and as compensation, will have free entry the remaining time. But if thats too much for you, you can apply as reserve volunteer. Reserve volunteers will be asked on demand, if we need additional help. There are no fixed work times, but also no volunteer extras.
We’re offering several team categories, and we strongly suggest to apply for at least two or three of them. Some will be quite popular, others have high demands. Some volunteers may also be assigned to different teams at different times.
Here’s where we’re searching for help:
Stage Guards
This team will watch the main stage area while the music events are running, so everything runs smoothly and all can enjoy the show, even if things get heated.
Area Guards
This team will watch the outside areas, the camping grounds and parking places, and will direct visitors.
Information / Reception
This team will do the registration of new visitors, and will be available as information desk throughout the event, as contact point to the organizers.
Bar team
The bar team will sell drinks in the main hall.
Catering team
The catering team will help with the food preparation. (preferably with health certificate.)
Medic team
This team handles health issues and provides first aid for visitors.
Tech team
The tech helpers will help and support with the stage equipment and cabling.
Docu-Team
The docu team will do some photo and video coverage of the event.
Shuttle drivers
The shuttle team will do transportation to the train station.
Reserve team
Reserve volunteers will be asked on demand if we need additional help. You decide if you want to do the task, and there’s no minimum work time you’ll have to fulfill.
Event language is German and English, so you should be able to talk to people in English – don’t worry, most visitors won’t be native English speakers either. Volunteers need to be over 18 years old to be accepted.
Although not strictly required, we would greatly appreciate it if you can arrive on Thursday to help setting up the event, meet your fellow helpers and superiors and get to know the location, and stay until Monday for cleanup.
Volunteering means working while others have fun, you should be aware of that. As compensation, you’ll get free entry in your off-hours, and maybe we can arrange some more extras for you. (except for reserve team)
All informations that you provide will be treated with utter respect and will be kept strictly confidential to the team, and as needed, to the volunteer leaders. They will only be used for internal purposes at Everfree Encore, after which they will be deleted. All data handling will be in full compliance with §4 BDSG.
After applying, you will get an automated confirmation that we received your application. Later on, we will let you know whether you will be accepted as Everfree Encore volunteer. This may take some time, as we collect applications first. If you’ve ordered a regular ticket and get accepted as a volunteer later on, we will of course give you a refund.
